McKie Consulting was appointed in Spring 2018 to support the Council to procure the replacement contract. The services provided to the Council team were:
1. A review of the current service delivery model and identification of improvement
2. Lead in the preparation of the conditions of contract, specification and pricing documents
3. Working with the Council’s Procurement team and stakeholders to develop tender evaluation criteria
4. Support in the evaluation of the tenders and award of the contract.
The previous contract had used the ICE Conditions of Contract and the new contract was to use the NEC4 Term Service Contract. McKie Consulting worked with the Council and the successful Contractor to develop and deliver a series of interactive training workshops and materials for the Client and Contractor staff. This introduced the new processes and procedures of the NEC4 contract and helped to embed collaborative working within the teams.
