Andrew McKie – MSc. MICE.
Andrew is a chartered civil engineer having started his career in the design and construction of transportation projects in the UK and overseas. This early career kindled an interest in improving the procurement and contractual arrangements for project and service delivery. Andrew subsequently studied for a master’s degree in construction law from King’s College, London before joining Buro Happold, a global consultancy firm, where he helped establish a successful team working with public sector organisations to improve service delivery.
Andrew established his own consultancy in 2013 and has advised a range of public bodies on procurement and contracting models in highways, property and waste management sectors. Andrew’s work has covered all elements of the service delivery lifecycle from the development of the Strategic Outline Business Case through the preparation of tender documents and ongoing support during service delivery.
